Guided by Amanda Trevelino, Gina Minyard and Gershone Hendelberg, this transformational retreat is a reset for the body, mind and spirit, intentionally timed under the first new moon of the new year.
Our boutique retreat center is tucked away in a nature preserve, steps from the Gulfo Dulce (sweet gulf) where cleansing water meets the vitality of the rainforest.
Each day includes:
- Silent Sunrise Meditation
- Morning Yoga with Live Music
- Three Ayurvedic-inspired meals
- Evening restorative, Yin, Nidra or Kirtan
The bio-diversity in the Osa Peninsula is unsurpassed. You can take it all in beside the salt water pool, or opt in to curated excursions:
- Take a boat to remote Corcovado National Park and hike through old growth forests with exotic wildlife
- Go boating with a marine biologist to spot dolphins and possibly whales
- Try waterfall rappelling
- Explore beaches by horseback
- Schedule a professional massage. Or two.
Or simply relax at the beach. The Joy of Missing Out is encouraged here!
Unique to this retreat center is its founder, Functional Medicine Nutritionist and Ayurvedic Practitioner Jennifer Millar. She not only shares her expertise, but offers guests a health re-boot perfectly timed for the new year.
You are fully supported to make delicious choices that enhance your renewal and well-being. Meals are made with local ingredients, free of refined sugars in a celiac-safe (gluten-free) kitchen. Each dining experience respects vegetarian, vegan or dairy free choices.
Amanda, Gina and Gershone together bring decades of yogic experience to this collaboration. It is recognized by Yoga Alliance for 20 continuing education units.
Your investment ranges from $2400 to $3100 per person.
It includes transfer from Puerto Jimenez airstrip.
Rainforest meets ocean at our private, boutique yoga and wellness destination. Immersed in nature steps from the beach at Golfo Dulce (sweet gulf) and a boat ride from Corcovado National Park, our location supports rebalancing the nervous system as we come into HARMONY with our circadian rhythms, and the simplicity of jungle life using methods of yogic sound (kirtan) and stillness (yoga nidra)
The bio-diversity found on the Osa peninsula is unsurpassed. Corcovado National Park encompasses the only remaining old growth wet forests on the Pacific Coast of Central America, and 13 major ecosystems where there is a good chance of spotting some of Costa Rica’s shyest and most endangered inhabitants: Tapirs, Jaguars, Scarlet Macaws, Harpy Eagles, Red-backed squirrel monkeys and White-lipped Peccaries.
Our immersion is hosted by Amanda Trevelino, Gina Minyard and Gershone Hendelberg. Together, they offer movement and music, with transformative practices emphasizing body and Spirit. Their program is approved by Yoga Alliance for 20 continuing education hours. We’ll begin by contemplating pure consciousness, or spirit; eternal, and unaffected by the physical world. We then explore Akasha, the field of Sound, and Prakriti, the active principle, through each of the elements: water, wood, fire, earth, air. We’ll add the practice of yoga Nidra as an experience of embodied harmony.
